Magical Starry Night critter card

Hoe lief is dit kaartje. Oh ik hou gewoon van beestjes en dit beertje is zo leuk en een schutkaart is altijd top, zeker in dit thema met deze sterrenhemel.

Voor de afwerking van de ster heb ik heel veel stipjes gebruikt, op het laatst nog met een witte gelpen. Dat effect is echt super! Bij het beertje heb ik de stipjes ook gebruikt, maar dan veel minder. Vorig jaar wilde ik nog een cursus doen waarbij dit uitgebreid aan de orde was, helaas kreeg ik griep en was ik uiteindelijk niet in staat om te gaan. Nu besloot ik het gewoon maar zelf een beetje te proberen. Uiteindelijk is het toch vaak een kwestie van doen en gewoon wat proberen.

Dit kaartje brengt wel weer veel mooie herinneringen boven, een paar zal ik hier kort delen. Ik hoop dat je ze ook mooi vindt.

Die ene keer heel lang geleden, ik was nog heel jong (begin 20 jaar) en ging samen met een vriendin naar mijn geliefde Parijs. Ja, Parijs heeft een super speciaal plekje in mijn hart en dat zal altijd zo blijven. Die ene keer met m’n vriendinnetje K., eerst overdag naar “La Fayette” en daar ons op laten maken. Daarna door naar de machtige “Eiffeltoren”, mijn andere grote liefde is dat. Vervolgens naar het fantastische “Montmarte” en uit eten op het plein van de kunstenaars, waar ik een heel mooie kleine tekening van de “Arc de Triomphe” heb gekocht.

Deze tekening heb ik nog steeds en maakt me altijd zo blij, hij is echt prachtig. Maar nu komt het, want ik dwaal af, in de avond laat stonden wij daarboven op de heuvel bij de “Sacré-Coeur” die uitkijkt over de stad met de sterrenhemel. Dus daar wilde ik naartoe met dit verhaal, naar die mooie sterrenhemel. Dat was zo ontzettend mooi. We hebben die avond de metro nog maar net op tijd terug naar het hotel kunnen halen. De volgende avond waren we net te laat weg en konden we uiteindelijk met de taxi naar het hotel terug. Maar dat is weer een ander verhaal voor een andere keer.

Maar ook die keer in Amerika, in “Death Valley”. We sliepen daar in een machtig gaaf hotel, midden in de woestijn. Op zo’n bijzondere plek, de avond voor onze trouwdag en de vrijheid van mijn vakantie voelen, benieuwd naar wat onze toekomst gaat brengen. Even geen verplichtingen, even tijd voor onszelf. En eerlijk is eerlijk, zo’n sterrenhemel heeft toch echt iets heel magisch en romantisch en dat zeker op de avond voor ons trouwen. Dat was 5 april 2015

Maar in gedachten zit ik ook weer terug o.a. in Frankrijk, bij de camper op die ene warme zomeravond in de zomer 2023. Met een wijntje, lekker kaasplankje gezellig met de liefde van m’n leven, kijkend naar de sterren met bijzondere diepgaande gesprekken. Oh dat moment, ik kan er weer zo blij van worden als ik eraan terug denk.

Begin dit jaar ben ik nog kort in Arles geweest en dat is ook een plek die echt magisch is. Als je daar in de avond loopt langs het water, langs de plekken waar Van Gogh ook liep met de sterren. Ik denk dat dit gevoel bijna niet te verwoorden is, zo speciaal om daar samen met de liefde van mijn leven te zijn.

Uiteindelijk zijn deze momenten ook de herinneringen die ertoe doen, zulke momenten bewaar je voor altijd. Hoe mooi is het dat dit kaartje uiteindelijk zulke herinneringen terug brengt in mijn gedachten. En dan geniet ik opnieuw van die mooie herinneringen.

How sweet is this card. Oh I just love critters and this bear is so cute and a shaker card is always great, especially in this theme with this starry sky.

For the finishing of the star I used a lot of dots, finalized with a white gelpen. That effect is really great! I also used the dots for the bear, but just a few. Last year I wanted to do a course where this was part of the workshop, unfortunately I got the flu and I was unable to go. Now I decided to just try it myself. In the end, it's often a matter of doing it and just trying something.

This card brings back a lot of beautiful memories, I will share a few of them here. I hope you also like them.

That one time a long time ago, I was still very young (in my early 20s) and went to my beloved Paris with a friend. Yes, Paris has a super special place in my heart and always will. That one time with my girlfriend K., first during the day we went to "La Fayette" and had it made up for us. Then on to the mighty "Eiffel Tower", that is my other great love. Then to the fantastic "Montmarte" and out for dinner in the artists' square, where I bought a very nice little drawing of the "Arc de Triomphe".

I still have this drawing and it always makes me so happy, it's really beautiful. But now it comes, because I digress, late in the evening we were up there on the hill near the "Sacré-Coeur" that overlooks the city with the starry sky. So that's where I wanted to go with this story, to that beautiful starry sky. That was so incredibly beautiful. We were able to catch the subway back to the hotel just in time that evening. The next evening we left just too late and were finally able to take a taxi back to the hotel. But that's another story for another time.

But also that time in America, in "Death Valley". We slept there in a mighty cool hotel, in the middle of the desert. In such a special place, the evening before our wedding day and feeling the freedom of my holiday, curious about what our future will bring. No obligations for a while, some quality time for ourselves. And to be honest, such a starry sky really has something very magical and romantic, especially on the night before our wedding. That was April 5, 2015.

But in my mind I am also back in France, among other places, by the camper on that one warm summer evening in the summer 2023. With a glass of wine, a nice cheese platter with the love of my life, looking at the stars with special in-depth conversations. Oh that moment, it makes me so happy when I think back on it.

At the beginning of this year I was briefly in Arles and that is also a place that is really magical. If you walk there in the evening along the water, past the places where Van Gogh also walked with the stars. I think this feeling is almost impossible to put into words, so special to be there with the love of my life.

At the end of the day, these moments are also the memories that matter, you keep such moments forever. How beautiful it is that this card finally brings such memories back to my mind. And then I enjoy those beautiful memories again.

Qué dulce es esta carta. Oh, me encantan las criaturas y este oso es tan lindo y una tarjeta de coctelera siempre es genial, especialmente en este tema con este cielo estrellado.

Para el acabado de la estrella utilicé muchos puntos, finalizados con un gelpen blanco. ¡Ese efecto es realmente genial! También usé los puntos para el oso, pero solo unos pocos. El año pasado quise hacer un curso donde esto fuera parte del taller, lamentablemente me dio gripe y no pude ir. Ahora decidí probarlo yo mismo. Al final, a menudo es cuestión de hacerlo y probar algo.

Esta tarjeta me trae muchos recuerdos hermosos, compartiré algunos de ellos aquí.

Esa vez, hace mucho tiempo, todavía era muy joven (tenía poco más de 20 años) y me fui a mi amado París con un amigo. Sí, París tiene un lugar súper especial en mi corazón y siempre lo tendrá. Esa vez con mi novia K., primero durante el día fuimos a "La Fayette" y nos lo arreglaron. Luego a la poderosa "Torre Eiffel", ese es mi otro gran amor. Luego al fantástico "Montmarte" y a cenar en la plaza de los artistas, donde compré un pequeño dibujo muy bonito del "Arco del Triunfo".

Todavía tengo este dibujo y siempre me hace muy feliz, es realmente hermoso. Pero ahora llega, porque estoy divagando, a última hora de la tarde estábamos allí arriba en la colina cerca del "Sacré-Coeur" que domina la ciudad con el cielo estrellado. Así que ahí es donde quería ir con esta historia, a ese hermoso cielo estrellado. Eso fue increíblemente hermoso. Pudimos tomar el metro de regreso al hotel justo a tiempo esa noche. A la noche siguiente salimos demasiado tarde y finalmente pudimos tomar un taxi de regreso al hotel. Pero esa es otra historia para otro momento.

Pero también ese tiempo en América, en "Death Valley". Dormimos allí en un hotel muy chulo, en medio del desierto. En un lugar tan especial, la noche antes del día de nuestra boda y sintiendo la libertad de mis vacaciones, curioso por lo que nos deparará el futuro. Sin obligaciones por un tiempo, un poco de tiempo de calidad para nosotros mismos. Y para ser honestos, un cielo tan estrellado realmente tiene algo muy mágico y romántico, especialmente la noche antes de nuestra boda. Eso fue el 5 de abril de 2015.

Pero en mi mente también estoy de vuelta en Francia, entre otros lugares, junto a la autocaravana en esa cálida tarde de verano del verano de 2023. Con una copa de vino, una buena tabla de quesos con el amor de mi vida, mirando las estrellas con conversaciones especiales en profundidad. Oh, ese momento, me hace tan feliz cuando pienso en ello.

A principios de este año estuve brevemente en Arles y ese es también un lugar realmente mágico. Si caminas por la noche a lo largo del agua, pasa por los lugares donde Van Gogh también caminó con las estrellas. Creo que este sentimiento es casi imposible de poner en palabras, tan especial estar allí con el amor de mi vida.

Al final del día, estos momentos también son los recuerdos que importan, guardas esos momentos para siempre. Qué hermoso es que esta tarjeta finalmente me traiga tantos recuerdos a la mente. Y luego vuelvo a disfrutar de esos hermosos recuerdos.

Comme cette carte est douce. Oh, j’adore les bestioles et cet ours est si mignon et une carte shaker est toujours géniale, surtout dans ce thème avec ce ciel étoilé.

Pour la finition de l’étoile j’ai utilisé beaucoup de points, finalisés avec un gelpen blanc. Cet effet est vraiment génial ! J’ai également utilisé les points pour l’ours, mais seulement quelques-uns. L’année dernière, je voulais suivre un cours où cela faisait partie de l’atelier, malheureusement j’ai attrapé la grippe et je n’ai pas pu y aller. Maintenant, j’ai décidé de l’essayer moi-même. En fin de compte, il s’agit souvent de le faire et d’essayer quelque chose.

Cette carte me rappelle beaucoup de beaux souvenirs, je vais en partager quelques-uns ici.

Cette fois-là, il y a longtemps, j’étais encore très jeune (au début de la vingtaine) et je suis allée dans mon Paris bien-aimé avec une amie. Oui, Paris a une place super spéciale dans mon cœur et le sera toujours. Cette fois avec ma petite amie K., d’abord pendant la journée, nous sommes allés à « La Fayette » et nous l’avons fait maquiller pour nous. Puis la puissante « Tour Eiffel », c’est mon autre grand amour. Puis au fantastique « Montmartre » et dîner sur la place des artistes, où j’ai acheté un très joli petit dessin de l'"Arc de Triomphe ».

J’ai toujours ce dessin et il me rend toujours si heureuse, c’est vraiment beau. Mais voilà, parce que je digresse, tard dans la soirée nous étions là-haut sur la colline près du Sacré-Cœur qui surplombe la ville au ciel étoilé. C’est donc là que je voulais aller avec cette histoire, vers ce magnifique ciel étoilé. C’était tellement beau. Nous avons pu prendre le métro pour retourner à l’hôtel juste à temps ce soir-là. Le lendemain soir, nous sommes partis trop tard et avons finalement pu prendre un taxi pour retourner à l’hôtel. Mais c’est une autre histoire pour une autre fois.

Mais aussi cette fois en Amérique, dans la « Vallée de la Mort ». Nous avons dormi dans un hôtel très cool, au milieu du désert. Dans un endroit si spécial, la veille de notre mariage et en ressentant la liberté de mes vacances, curieuse de ce que notre avenir nous réserve. Pas d’obligations pendant un certain temps, du temps de qualité pour nous-mêmes. Et pour être honnête, un tel ciel étoilé a vraiment quelque chose de très magique et romantique, surtout la veille de notre mariage. C’était le 5 avril 2015.

Mais dans mon esprit, je suis aussi de retour en France, entre autres, par le camping-car en cette chaude soirée d’été de l’été 2023. Avec un verre de vin, un bon plateau de fromages avec l’amour de ma vie, en regardant les étoiles avec des conversations spéciales en profondeur. Oh ce moment, ça me rend si heureux quand j’y repense.

Au début de cette année, j’ai été brièvement à Arles et c’est aussi un endroit qui est vraiment magique. Si vous vous y promenez le soir au bord de l’eau, en passant devant les endroits où Van Gogh a également marché avec les étoiles. Je pense que ce sentiment est presque impossible à exprimer avec des mots, si spécial d’être là avec l’amour de ma vie.

En fin de compte, ces moments sont aussi les souvenirs qui comptent, vous gardez ces moments pour toujours. Comme c’est beau que cette carte me rappelle enfin de tels souvenirs. Et puis je profite à nouveau de ces beaux souvenirs.
