Simon Says Stamp and Show: Read All About It!

For me this challenge was extra fun, I wanted to make a book with my favourite Alice in Wonderland theme and here it is! I got an old book and glued the pages together and painted it.
I used some "Crackle Accent" on the "Drink Me" bottle, but is still has to dry before you see this effect.

    I love making altered books! Although, I never altered a book that remain open, like in this project. I shall like to try this :). The heavy tearing of pages and Alice in the middle of it, is really a brilliant idea (mimics the rabbit hole, I think). Gorgeous inking and LOVE the quote. I'm curious how you made the page beautifully bending like that :). Hugs.

 I've made this "The Altered Alice Card Box" in which I can collect my Altered Alice Challenge cards! The Stamps and flowers with some nailart decoration (hearts) in the middle are behind the glass.  The red text and hearts are vinyl stickers cut with the Cricut and which are on the outside of the glass.  If you look closer, you can see that I've used craquelée paint. Dutch Card Lovers Challenge #252

Ik wilde een super vrolijke verjaardagskaart maken en ben dol op mijn nieuwe stempelset " Strike up the Band" van Die-Namics/My Favorite Things. Het kaartmodel kwam ik op internet tegen. Een basiskaart met een flap van links naar rechts en een weer een andere flap van rechts naar links, waardoor de kaart blijft staan en 3D wordt. Voor de Dutch Card Lovers challenge was het van belang iets met 'woodfineer' te gebruiken. Ik heb op een houten pijltje (van stampin up) " happy birthday"  gestempeld en sterren op de achtergrond gebruikt, allemaal van hout. "The mini tag scrapbook". Een droom die uitkomt: mijn allereerste Etsy-workshop is live!

"The Mini Tag Scrapbook"  een creatieve PDF-workshop in 9 talen!   (for English scroll down)/ (für Deutsch nach unten scrollen) /(para español desplácese hacia abajo) / (pour Français défiler vers le bas) (下拉菜单 ) Er is iets gebeurd wat ik al jaren wilde doen... en het is eindelijk gelukt!  Mijn allereerste DIY-workshop staat live op Etsy . Ooohhhh een droom die uitkomt! In december kreeg ik ineens het idee voor een mini tag scrapbook, welke ik eigenlijk alleen voor mezelf zou gaan maken. Ik ben gaan schetsen, testen, verbeteren en had het basisboekje eigenlijk snel gemaakt.  En toen kwam op op het leukste, de aankleding van het boekje met designpapier en het uitzoeken van de foto's die erin zouden gaan. Op dat moment geniet ik opnieuw van alle herinneringen en leuke momenten die ik in mijn fotoboekje vast ga leggen. Als ik mijn resultaten online laat zien, krijg ik altijd veel vragen.
