Amsterdam mini book

Dit mini boekje is zo'n ontzettend leuke herinnering aan een topdag met een hele lieve vriendin van mij in Amsterdam. Het was grappig, onze plannen voor die dag liepen compleet in de war en we kwamen uit in de buurt van centrum Amsterdam. Omdat alles anders liep, besloten we het plan te wijzigen en te genieten van het mooie Amsterdam. 

In het centrum van Amsterdam stonden toen ook hele mooie fietsen als decoratie, helemaal versierd. Ik weet eigenlijk niet of ze er nog steeds staan. Maar toen ik de toffe recente stempels van Catherine Pooler zag met de mooie fiets, moest ik gelijk aan die prachtige dag denken. Mijn vriendin noemt dat altijd "een dag met een gouden randje". Dat vind ik echt een mooie uitdrukking.

Voor de kaft heb ik dit vrolijke papier gebruikt en dit papier zie je ook weer komen in het boekje zelf. Alle papier restjes en randjes zijn ook hergebruikt in dit boekje. Want zeg nu zelf, dit papier is te leuk en te mooi om de restjes weg te gooien. De tag die cut van de "Boo Box" heb ik hier ook weer gebruikt. En in de "Boo Box" zat ook een grote "Count to Six Cover Plate" die cut, daar heb ik een tweeluik uitgeknipt en gebruikt als shaker. Echt, "The Boo Box" is ook zo'n prachtig pakket, maar daar kom ik op terug in een andere post. 

De wieltjes van de fiets op de cover kunnen draaien, voor extra stevigheid heb ik ze op plastic geplakt. De ballonnen zitten zelfs aan een touwtje aan de bagagedrager van de fiets, leuk detail toch. 

Mijn favoriete foto's van die dag heb ik uitgeprint (makkelijk thuis op een kleine pocket printer) en de grote foto had al liggen. Maar een eigen fotoprinter vind ik altijd zo handig. Vooral met mini scrapbooks, je kan gelijk printen wat je nodig hebt in de juiste maat. Helaas wel iets duurder dan gewoon afdrukken bestellen, maar goed voor een mini boekje heb je vaak ook niet zo heel veel foto's nodig. 

En nog een leuk detail, in het boekje zie je ook foto's van het muizenhuis in Amsterdam. Dit is zo ontzettend leuk, echt een aanrader als je ooit in Amsterdam komt. Kijk vooral eens op de de site als je niet in de gelegenheid bent om te gaan, want ook dat is echt heel leuk en super interessant om te lezen en te zien.

This mini book is such a great memory of a great day with a very sweet friend of mine in Amsterdam. It was funny, our plans for that day were completely messed up and we ended up near the center of Amsterdam. Because everything went differently, we decided to change the plan and enjoy the beautiful Amsterdam.

In the center of Amsterdam there were also very beautiful bicycles as decoration, completely decorated. I actually don't know if they are still there. But when I saw the cool recent stamps of Catherine Pooler with the beautiful bicycle, I immediately thought of that beautiful day. My friend always calls it "a day with a golden edge". I think that is a really nice expression.

For the cover I used this cheerful paper and you can see this paper again in the book itself. All paper scraps and edges are also reused in this book. Because let's be honest, this paper is too nice and too beautiful to throw away the scraps. I also used the tag die cut of the "Boo Box". And in the "Boo Box" there was also a large "Count to Six Cover Plate" die cut, I cut out a "two window piece" and used it as a shaker. Really, "The Boo Box" is also such an amazing product package, but I will come back to that in another post.

The wheels of the bike on the cover can turn, for extra strength I glued them to plastic. The balloons are even attached to a string on the bike's luggage carrier, nice detail.

I printed out my favorite photos of that day (easy at home on a small pocket printer) and I already had the large photo. But I always find a personal photo printer so handy. Especially with mini scrapbooks, you can immediately print what you need in the right size. Unfortunately a bit more expensive than just ordering prints, but for a mini book you often don't need that many photos.

And another nice detail, in the book you can also see pictures of the mouse house in Amsterdam. This is so incredibly nice, really recommended if you ever come to Amsterdam. Especially take a look at the site if you are not able to go, because that is also amazing and super interesting to read and see.

Este minilibro es un gran recuerdo de un gran día con una muy dulce amiga mía en Ámsterdam. Fue curioso, nuestros planes para ese día se arruinaron por completo y terminamos cerca del centro de Amsterdam. Como todo fue diferente, decidimos cambiar el plan y disfrutar de la hermosa Ámsterdam.

En el centro de Amsterdam también había bicicletas muy bonitas como decoración, completamente decoradas. La verdad es que no sé si todavía están allí. Pero cuando vi los recientes sellos geniales de Catherine Pooler con la hermosa bicicleta, inmediatamente pensé en ese hermoso día. Mi amigo siempre lo llama "un día con un toque dorado". Creo que es una expresión realmente bonita.

Para la portada utilicé este papel alegre y podéis volver a ver este papel en el propio libro. Todos los restos y bordes de papel también se reutilizan en este libro. Porque seamos honestos, este papel es demasiado bonito y hermoso para tirar los restos. También utilicé la etiqueta troquelada del "Boo Box". Y en la "Boo Box" también había un troquel grande de "Cuenta hasta seis", corté una "pieza de dos ventanas" y la usé como agitador. Realmente, "The Boo Box" también es un paquete de productos increíble, pero volveré a eso en otra publicación.

Imprimí mis fotos favoritas de ese día (es fácil hacerlo en casa con una pequeña impresora de bolsillo) y ya tenía la foto grande. Pero siempre me resulta muy útil una impresora de fotos personal. Especialmente con los miniálbumes de recortes, puedes imprimir inmediatamente lo que necesitas en el tamaño correcto. Lamentablemente, es un poco más caro que pedir copias impresas, pero para un miniálbum no sueles necesitar tantas fotos.

Y otro detalle muy bonito: en el libro también se pueden ver fotos de la casa del ratón en Ámsterdam. Es increíblemente bonito, muy recomendable si alguna vez vienes a Ámsterdam. Echa un vistazo a la página web si no puedes ir, porque también es increíble y muy interesante de leer y ver.

Ce mini livre est un très bon souvenir d'une belle journée avec un de mes très gentils amis à Amsterdam. C'était drôle, nos plans pour cette journée étaient complètement chamboulés et nous nous sommes retrouvés près du centre d'Amsterdam. Parce que tout s'est passé différemment, nous avons décidé de changer de plan et de profiter de la belle Amsterdam.

Dans le centre d'Amsterdam, il y avait aussi de très beaux vélos en guise de décoration, entièrement décorés. En fait, je ne sais pas s'ils sont toujours là. Mais quand j'ai vu les jolis timbres récents de Catherine Pooler avec le magnifique vélo, j'ai immédiatement pensé à cette belle journée. Mon ami l'appelle toujours "une journée avec une touche dorée". Je pense que c'est une très belle expression.

Pour la couverture, j'ai utilisé ce papier joyeux et vous pouvez retrouver ce papier dans le livre lui-même. Tous les chutes et bords de papier sont également réutilisés dans ce livre. Car soyons honnêtes, ce papier est trop joli et trop beau pour en jeter les chutes. J'ai également utilisé le tag die cut de la "Boo Box". Et dans la "Boo Box", il y avait aussi une grande découpe "Count to Six Cover Plate", j'ai découpé un "deux morceaux de fenêtre" et je l'ai utilisé comme shaker. Vraiment, "The Boo Box" est aussi un package de produits tellement étonnant, mais j'y reviendrai dans un autre article.

J'ai imprimé mes photos préférées de ce jour-là (facile à la maison sur une petite imprimante de poche) et j'avais déjà la grande photo. Mais je trouve toujours une imprimante photo personnelle très pratique. Surtout avec les mini-albums, vous pouvez immédiatement imprimer ce dont vous avez besoin dans la bonne taille. Malheureusement, c'est un peu plus cher que de simplement commander des impressions, mais pour un mini-livre, vous n'avez souvent pas besoin d'autant de photos.

Et un autre détail sympa, dans le livre, vous pouvez également voir des photos de la maison des souris à Amsterdam. C'est incroyablement beau, vraiment recommandé si vous venez un jour à Amsterdam. Jetez un œil au site surtout si vous ne pouvez pas y aller, car c'est aussi incroyable et super intéressant à lire et à voir.
