Pioen Roos kaart / Peony Card - (scroll down for English)

Toen ik in Frankfurt was bij Creative World zag ik deze bloemen stansen van Spellbinders voor de eerste keer, prachtig ontworpen door Yana Smakula. Ze was daar zelf ook om demo's te geven, wat extra leuk was. Ze hadden ook prachtige producten met tulpen in samenwerking met Simon Hurley (hij was ook aanwezig op Creative World, dus echt fantastisch om ook hem te ontmoeten), maar daar kom ik in een ander verhaal op terug.

Deze korte video geeft een kleine impressie van wat je aan de muur van de stand van Spellbinders kon zien bij Creative World in Frankfurt (jan. 2024), aan het einde zie je de twee items die ik hier heb gebruikt. Maar deze voorbeelden zijn nog veel mooier.

Als je naar de foto op de verpakking van deze stansen kijkt, en je ziet de combinatie met goud en roze, dan weet je gelijk dat deze stanzen geweldig zijn met eindeloze mogelijkheden. Vandaag heb ik daarmee deze kaart gemaakt, maar binnenkort ga ik er een mini scrapbook mee maken met veel lagen. Zoveel inspiratie. Sinds ik mee heb gedaan aan de Spellbinders Super Star wedstrijd, waarvoor ik een Alice in Wonderland, kijk door het glas geïnspireerd vol met lagen boek heb gemaakt, ben ik weer helemaal van het creëren van laagjes en dimensie in het scrapbooken. Het is scrapbooken, maar ik ben terug op dat punt sinds de wedstrijd.

Mijn kaart vandaag heeft niet veel lagen, ik heb alleen wat foamtape gebruikt om er maar een klein beetje dimensie in te maken.  Vandaag is het dus een eenvoudige kaart geworden met een betterpress achtergrond die zo snel gemaakt was. De tekst is ook gedaan met de betterpress en in combinatie met de stansen ook erg snel. De bloem kostte iets meer moeite en het kleuren was eenvoudig, maar als je het mij vraagt ook heel snel. Dus deze kaart is voor mij een makkelijke kaart, terwijl hij nog steeds fantastisch eruitziet.

While I was in Frankfurt at Creative World, I saw these flowers dies for the first time ever at Spellbinders, a stunning design by Yana Smakula. She also was there herself to demonstrate amazing products, so that was extra fun. They also had these amazing tulip products in cooperation with Simon Hurley (he also was present at Creative World, so awesome to meet him also), about that I will come back in another story.

This short video shows just a little bit of the booth wall of Spellbinders at Creative World in Frankfurt (Jan. 2024), at the end you see the two items I've used. But these examples are even more stunning.

When you look at the picture on the package of these cutting dies and you see all the gold with the pink colors combined, you just know that these dies are amazing with endless possibilities. Today I made this card with them, but soon I will create a mini scrapbook with many dimensions. So much inspiration since I've participated with the Spellbinders super star contest, for which I made a Alice in wonderland inspired looking through the glass book with all kind of layers, I am again hooked on creating layers and dimensions in scrapbooking. It's been a while ago that I've really took the time to scrapbook, but I am back on track with this since the contest.

Well my card today doesn't have many layers, I only used some foam tape to give it just a little bit of layering. Today it's a simple one with a betterpress background which is made so fast. The Sentiment is also done with the betterpress and die cut combination, als pretty fast. The flower took some more effort and the coloring went easy, but if you ask me it's also fast. So this card is for me an easy one, while still looking fabulous.
